Garden Party Events

We have an acre of sheltered garden which looks out over our arable field and the adjacent woodland. There is a large patio area, where BBQs can be set up and a smaller more secluded garden area to the side of the house where there is access to a new guest toilet. The lawn is completely flat with some mature trees to one side, which offer some dappled shade. Across the grass runway is a large pond and wildlife area, which is a really lovely space for a walk and picnic.

There is ample room for mini marquees, Tipi tents and gazebos.

COSTS:

- We can accommodate up to 50 people.

- The Basic hire of the garden is £300 from 12pm to 7pm and this includes access to an inside toilet. Additional time up to 11.00pm is a total fee of £400 for 12 hours 11am- 11pm.

- Power can be provided for tea/coffee making, refridgeration and music speakers. If you require anything larger e.g. bouncy castle please discuss your needs

- Tables and chairs or hay bales can be hired in at an additional cost.

- Food platters can be purchased- please speak to us about your needs- they can be themed and adapted for dietary requirements.

- Afternoon tea service with homemade cake, scones, jam and clotted cream can be purchased- please speak to us about your requirements.

- A table for refreshments can be set up including a 5ltr water boiler, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, crockery and squash dispensers for £120

Terms and Conditions

- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non- refundable.

- A damage deposit of £100 is payable and will be returned within 7 days once the garden has been inspected for rubbish/damage.

- You are responsible for the clearing of any rubbish after your event. A large bin can be provided but you will need to supply bin bags.

- BBQs must be used on the patio only

- No other open flame or lanterns are permitted due to fire risk and arable crops

- Any amplified music whether from an iPhone, stereo speaker or live band must cease at 10.30pm (time is negotiable dependant upon resident B&B guests)

- All live music requires a temporary events licence (TENS), which we can help you obtain from the local council.

- If alcohol is to be SOLD on site, then you must have a temporary events license and ensure any outside supplier has one. You may bring your own alcohol for private use and this can only be served or dispensed by your party.

- There is an active grass runway. Pilots will be notified of the event but anyone crossing the runway does so at their own risk. Luckily it isn't Heathrow but we do ask for awareness and safety.
